Professional weed removal
Out by the root, not snapped off
A weed pulled at the surface is back in two weeks. GMX takes it out with the root, clears the beds, the walkway joints and the fence lines, treats what keeps returning, and loads everything out. Where the same spot fills in every year, fabric and fresh mulch give it nowhere to start.
- Weeds pulled out by the root, not snapped off
- Beds and mulched areas around your plantings
- Walkway and driveway joints scraped clean
- Fence lines, curbs and the corners a mower misses
- Treatment where the same spot keeps filling in
- Everything loaded and hauled off the property
Common situations
Why people call us
It grows back in two weeks
Most weeding stops at the surface. If the root stays in the ground, the weed is back before the month is out.
The beds disappeared
A few weeks of rain and the mulch vanishes under a mat of green. The plants you paid for stop being the thing people notice.
Weeds in the walkway joints
Once they get into the paver joints they push the stones apart. Pulling the tops does nothing — they have to come out of the joint.

Weeding — Common Questions
How much does weeding cost?
Pricing depends on the area, how far the weeds have gone, and whether the spot needs treatment on top of pulling. GMX gives a free estimate based on the specific property.
Do you take the weeds away?
Yes. Everything we pull is loaded and hauled off the property. Nothing is left bagged at the curb.
Can you get the weeds out of the walkway joints?
Yes. Paver joints have to be scraped out rather than pulled at the top — otherwise the root stays in the joint and keeps pushing the stones apart.
What about dandelions in the middle of the lawn?
Those are treated rather than dug one by one. Digging each one leaves a hole, and a lawn full of holes looks worse than the weeds did.
Can you mulch or lay fabric afterwards?
Yes. Once a bed is clear, fabric and fresh mulch are the cheapest way to keep it clear. We quote that together with the weeding so you can compare.
Are estimates free?
Yes. Estimates are free and come with no obligation.
What does a weeding visit cover?
Removing weeds from planting beds, borders, walkways and gravel areas, pulling roots where we can reach them so regrowth is slower.
Will the weeds grow back?
Some will. Weed seeds sit in the soil and germinate over weeks. One thorough clearing followed by shorter upkeep visits keeps beds in much better shape than a single pass.
Do you use chemical treatments?
Tell us your preference when you request the estimate — if you would rather we avoid herbicides near pets, children or a vegetable garden, we will plan the work that way.
How often should beds be weeded?
Through the growing season, a visit every few weeks is usually enough to stay ahead. Once beds get fully overgrown, the first clearing takes far longer.
Does mulching after weeding help?
Yes, considerably. Clearing the beds and then mulching blocks light to new seedlings and slows regrowth.
